Scott Bendall Roofing
My firm recently undertook a large refurbishment of a flat roof at Annan Academy for Dumfries and Galloway Council. The tender requirement for the provision of a temporary roof structure to allow us to work uninterrupted through wet conditions and to insure that any exposed roofing would be kept dry.
After much consideration, I decided to purchase a 9 by 9- metre driveway kit from Weather Beater Ltd.
I discussed with my scaffolders the design and anchorage that we would have to achieve from their scaffolding and dually erected the framing and covers over my first section of flat roof. The architects and safety officers form Dumfries and Galloway Council who were involved in this project came to inspect the structure and were very impressed by what we were able to achieve.
The robust Aluminium structure fully supports the 3 metre sections of weatherproof fabric, even in windy conditions. Another factor is that uninterrupted works can be achieved during inclement weather. The ease of erecting and dismantling the whole system and its adaptability will prove to an invaluable asset in the future of may other types of works that will be undertaken.

Having used this system. I know that the system works, and will be a necessity to any person who undertakes outdoor work in this country. I was so impressed with Weather Beater that I contacted the Managing Director PICS Limited. They are the main suppliers of materials for the paving industry in the UK. I was aware that they themselves had looked at several covering systems, but none were found to be successful, until they were told about 'Weather Beater'

Being involved with the construction industry for over ten years. I feel that this product is revolutionary in addressing the issue of lost time and costs, but more importantly the issue of Heath and Safety on the sites and in particular the CDM regulations.

I believe that the Weather Beater System has great potential to extend the working hours which can be achieved during periods of inclement weather which inevitably experienced in this part of the country. In addition, the quality of work as well as the quantity should benefit greatly from being carried out from being carried out in dry and controlled conditions.
I have no doubt that a lot of contractors on tight programs will see the many benefit of the product and will become regular customers. In my daily activities I come in contact with quite a number of smaller and larger contractors and would have no hesitation in commending your product.
Farming Sector
Mr Mike Mills - "Upper Coton Farms", Northhamptonshire
One of the first farming customers in 2007. Has commented on the difference it has made by way of wind chill factor and rain retention, keeping his 8 bays protected.
Mr Neil Johnson - "Cwmdfn Farm", Carmarthenshire
Covered in 4 bays to his beef store shed and his end panel above the gated entrance. He was amazed at the difference it has made with regard to wind chill reduction and how dry it has remained underfoot.
